The Tetzlaff Quartett has swiftly gained a reputation as “one of the most fascinating chamber music ensembles in the world” (La Nazione/Florence, Italy). Their shared passion for chamber music brought Christian and Tanja Tetzlaff, Hanna Weinmeister and Elisabeth Kufferath together as a string quartet in 1994. The ensemble quickly developed into one of the most sought-after string quartets of our day. The Tetzlaff Quartett’s first concerts in 1996 were already a great success, and the four musicians have regularly come together in this formation to host highly acclaimed chamber music evenings ever since.
