Steven Isserlis ist famous for his technique and musical prowess and enjoys global, unprecedented success and recognition in his career as soloist, chamber music partner and professor. He has received numerous awards, among them the Critics’ Choice Award 2008 at the Classical Brit Awards. He will be performing together with the Munich-born violinist Viviane Hagner in Schloss Elmau, who has received highest acclaimed from critics and audiences alike for her passionate artistry and musical intelligence, as well as with French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, famed for his elegant playing and deeply reflective musicality.
