Two Hotels. One Resort.

Experience the freedom of choice between two exceptional, timelessly modern members of The Leading Hotels of the World in a breathtaking, secluded setting. Stay in one and experience both: savor breakfast at your hotel and enjoy full access to the world-class amenities available at both the Ultra-Luxury Retreat and the Luxury Hideaway.

Ultra Luxury Retreat

Built in 1916, this heritage-listed hideaway was largely destroyed by a major fire in 2005. It was rebuilt in 2007 with newfound spaciousness, reopening as a Luxury Spa & Cultural Hideaway and a proud member of the Leading Hotels of the World.

The resort provides endless opportunities to meet interesting people from around the world or simply get away from it all. It features 100 generous rooms & suites (25 to 110sqm), two adults-only and two family-friendly spas, a TCM Medical Spa, a Jivamukti Yoga Center, a sports center, a gym, a tea lounge, and a jazz piano bar. The estate also boasts a concert hall, a bookstore, two libraries, and five restaurants, including the two-Michelin-starred French-Japanese fusion restaurant, Ikigai.

Artists favor the hideaway for its proximity to the concert hall, while families appreciate the easy access to the family restaurant, the family tea lounge, the kids' club, and the family spa. With the exception of breakfast, guests staying at the Hideaway are welcome to enjoy all amenities available at the Retreat.
