Do you want to learn how to take truly great photos – how to find compelling subjects and perspectives? In this workshop, you’ll sharpen your eye for strong composition and for what really matters in powerful images. You’ll learn to see differently and gain insights into why some photos work and others don’t. During this course week, we’ll shoot every day with two different new themes. You can photograph with your own camera or, of course, with your smartphone – or borrow an excellent camera free of charge from Micha Pawlitzki for the duration of the workshop. We’ll photograph both inside the hotel and outdoors in nature, and every day you’ll receive new tips and tricks to help you create outstanding images. You can also join on any day of the course week!

This photography workshop is led by professional photographer Micha Pawlitzki, one of Europe’s most widely published photographers. Micha Pawlitzki has received numerous international awards for his fine-art books and calendars; his images are used by companies and organisations such as Apple, Samsung, Google, the BBC, BMW, GEO, and the G20 Summit. He leads more than 100 photography workshops each year for adults, children, and teenagers – for example for Porsche and Mercedes in Stuttgart – and also exclusively at Schloss Elmau.
