The Retreat was built 2015 and is located on a sunny hilltop 150m west of the Hideaway. It served as the residence for the Heads of State and Government during the G7 Summits in 2015 and 2022. It features 47 rooms and suites (60-200 sqm), a Shantigiri Adult Spa, an Onsen, a Shantigiri Family Spa, a Yoga Pavilion, a Library Lounge, and four restaurants.
