Outstanding Winegrowers
at the Luce d’Oro**

presented by Heads Sommelier Marie-Helen Krebs

Fattoria Nittardi, Tuscany
Weingut Wittmann, Rhenish Hesse

14 & 15 April

“Those who make wine think in generations.”
Both Nittardi and the Wittmann winery are perfecting their expertise in wine-growing true to this motto. This long-term appreciation has resulted in vines of remarkable balance, and wines with depth and precision. The first few bottles of the Nittardi estate’s premium wine “Nectar Dei” went to the Pope early on, a tradition that continues to this day.

Weingut Dönnhoff, Nahe
Bodegas Muga, Rioja

2 & 3 June

Here are two wineries whose pairing could not be more harmonious. Outstanding German Rieslings from the Dönnhoff winery meet perfectly matched Spanish red-wine temperament from the Muga family. Both wineries cultivate grapes in the old family tradition which then find their way into great wine compositions.

On each of the two days in April and June, an afternoon masterclass with one of the two wineries will take place at 16:00 (4:00 pm) in the Ganesha Lounge – a perfect occasion for you to get to know the winemakers personally and taste their top wines. The exciting oenological journey culminates with a 5-course dinner on 14 April and 2 June (for hotel guests only, at extra charge) including wine accompaniment and an aperitif at Luce d’Oro, our two-star restaurant.

Please book early, as spaces are limited.
For hotel guests, the wine masterclass is included. External guests are welcome to attend for 30€/person.
