The journey from Innsbruck Airport (Austria) to Schloss Elmau takes 45 minutes by car.  Taxi costs 220 €.

Munich Airport

The journey from Munich Airport to Schloss Elmau takes 90 minutes by car. Taxi costs 340 € (max 2 pax) or 360 € (3 – 7 pax).

Please let us know your flight number and arrival time if you would like us to arrange a taxi for you. The driver will pick you up in the arrival hall. 

From Munich Main Train Station to Klais

The train ride from Munich Hauptbahnhof to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and onward to Klais takes  90 minutes. Trains leave every hour. Tickets cost c. 26 €/Person

Innsbruck (Austria) Main Train Station to Klais

The train ride from Innsbruck to Mittenwald and onward to Klais takes 1 hour. Tickets cost € 15/Person.

From Munich

The scenic drive on the highway to Garmisch-Partenkirchen takes about 1 hour. From Garmisch drive on toward Mittenwald/Innsbruck and take the next exit at Klais. At Klais, turn right over the train track crossing and then right again and drive to the chapel. Turn left at the chapel and drive 6 km on the toll road to Schloss Elmau. 

From Innsbruck

The scenic drive via Zirlerberg towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen takes about 45 minutes. At Klais, turn left and cross the train tracks and then immediately right and drive to the chapel. Turn left at the chapel and drive 6 km on the toll road to Schloss Elmau.
