Enjoy Bavarian Snacks and breathtaking views of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains. You can reach this alpine lodge at 1200 m above sea level in a 40 minute uphill walk from Schloss Elmau or  a one hour mountainbike ride from Schloss Elmau via Eckbauer.

How to get to Elmauer Alm:

We recommend the hiking trail from Hotel Kranzbach. Please take a hiking map with you. (Upon request, our shuttle will take you to the hikers' parking lot in front of Hotel Kranzbach.) Start at the information board and follow the hiking trail to the left. Follow the signs to Elmauer Alm. The walk to Elmauer Alm takes about 40 minutes.

Attention: We strongly advise against taking the trail from Schloss Elmau, as it is very steep. Also, the road to Elmauer Alm is only accessible with a special permit.
