Today
we celebrate classical music, jazz, literature, poetry & political debates with more than 200 events per year.

Besides our legendary Chamber Music Festival in January, founded by the famous Amadeus Quartet and Benjamin Britten in 1957, we feature Music of the Romantic Era in June, JazzClassica in July, The Grammophone Winners in September, The Jazztival and The Verbier Festival@Schloss Elmau in November.


Kids
are welcome to listen, if they can sit still for one hour. To experience great artists in concerts together with their parents becomes the unforgettable highlight of their vacation.

CD recordings have become a tradition at Schloss Elmau. Since 2005, Jazz and classical music musicians haven been visiting Schloss Elmau to record CDs under perfect conditions in the legendary concert hall with its excellent acoustics.

Non Profit Cultural Trust

The Kulturförderkreis (Cultural Trust) is a non-profit organisation supporting the unique cultural tradition of Schloss Elmau since 1972. The trust is particularly engaged in supporting young promising artists with tax deductible donations. The trust is run by Martin T:Son Engstroem, the founder and CEO of the famous Verbier Festival in Switzerland.
