The Schloss Elmau Concert Experience

Each year up to 200 Classical Music & Jazz Concerts with great artists of our take place in the concert hall. Besides the legendary Chamber Music Festival in January, founded by the Amadeus Quartet and Benjamin Britten in 1957 and The Verbier Festival@Schloss Elmau directed by Martin T:Son Engstroem and the European Jazztival in November, several Concert Series & Artists Residences take place throughout the year.

Kids are welcome to listen, if they can sit still for one hour. To experience great artists in concerts together with their parents becomes the unforgettable highlight of their vacation.

The Kulturförderkreis Schloss Elmau GmbH is a non-profit trust supporting the unique cultural tradition of Schloss Elmau since 1972. The trust is particularly engaged in supporting young promising artists with tax deductible donations. The trust is run by Martin T:Son Engstroem, the founder and CEO of the famous Verbier Festival in Switzerland.

CD recordings have become a tradition at Schloss Elmau. Since 2005, Jazz and classical music musicians haven been visiting Schloss Elmau to record CDs under perfect conditions in the legendary concert hall with its excellent acoustics.
